Returning from Budapest, we now have the evidence that clearly shows that Mike and Jason should never have been extradited.

They were extradited because the Hungarian Authorities declared that they were ready to prosecute.  Lies or mistakes, they were clearly not ready to prosecute.

Perhaps they made the same mistake  when they said Michael couldn't phone the British consulate because he had no credit on his phone card.

Mistakes can be made, but  justice can only be obtained, if authorities are prepared to admit them.

We now call upon our politicians, to point out to the Hungarians,  their mistakes and demand the imediate release and repatriation of Mike and Jason.  This care of duty to its' citizens, is the prime reponsibility of any legitimate government.

Adam United Kingdom on 12/26/2009 3:36 PM I desperately hope that the Hungarian authorities ackowledge their responsibilities soon.  I have recently spoken with members of local chambers of commerce who, whilst initially considering Hungary in respect of potential business opportunities, are seriously revising their position in light of this case.

It would clearly be unwise for the Hungarian authorities to permit the continuation of this situation if they seriously want the business, and more importantly the respect, of UK commerce!

I will be updating various chambers on a regular basis.
