We were told that we needed this legislation to protect us from international terrorism. What they didn't say, was that they would broaden its scope to include trivial driving offences and the like.

What this means, in short, is; If the Lithuanian's want you, Lithuanian Europol police officers will come and arrest you.(Bypassing the British juditial system.) They will take you directley to Lithuania, where they will can hold you in pre-trial detention indefinatley. In conditions which do not even bear thinking about. Your loved ones may often wonder what happened to you. No wonder they didn't tell us what the Lisbon Treaty meant or offered us a vote on wether to accept it.
