Jason and Michael are being held in Hungary in direct contravention of their human rights under the European convention 1998.

This is a disgrace and shames the Republic of Hungary and the good name of Europe in general.  We must do everything we can to pressure for Mike and Jason’s release from this primitive state, who clearly have no respect for our liberal western democratic values.

We must also lobby of course to make sure that no other British citizens are subject to the same extradition procedure.

jane tonic Hungary on 11/6/2009 9:15 AM I am deeply ashamed of my country right now. I could not believe that they would treat people like this. It is very unfair and something needs to be done! Europian law should apply in this case.
